The Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower, also known as 1 Hanson Place. Photo by Colin R. O'Leary
Took this shot over the weekend in Downtown Brooklyn. The Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower, seen in the background, is one of Brooklyn's most iconic structures. Originally built in 1931, the one-time tallest building in the borough stands 512 feet high. It was converted into luxury condos back in 2006 under the name 1 Hanson Place. Also seen in the bottom right section of the photo is an old entrance to the original Atlantic Avenue station.
